“ Popped in for an impromptu lunch with my husband and mother in law. Didn’t have to wait too long to be sat and our order taken. Fantastic carvery, really tasty and good portions. Sophie, who served our table, was courteous and helpful and made our visit better still. Highly recommend ”

“ It's a Toby carvery, what more can you say? Actually the service was really good, very efficient and the meat was absolutely incredible! Nice treat to come home to after a weekend away of complete debauchery when we couldn't be bothered cooking. Roast potatoes awesome, Yorkshire puddings perfect, vegetables about as you'd expect from a carvery. I still don't approve of hem having macaroni cheese though . ”
“ Staff are always so polite and welcoming, even when you can see it's really busy. Has a really nice family pub atmosphere. They very kindly took notice of our request for a quiet table when booking as my teenager is autistic and gets anxious in busy places. The carvery is always good, food is always freshly cooked and hot. One of us is vegetarian and there's always plenty of choice for them. ”
“ Me and my family came last night for my mum's birthday and it was incredible the food was amazing the dessert were even better considering that we were a table of 10 which can be difficult the staffer were very attentive and very polite they also made my mum's birthday special and definitely one to remember. We all went for the carvery and the lamb was juicy and tender and so was the beef and the chefs at the carvery were very patient with my stammer and very understanding and for dessert we had the sundaes and my mum had the chocolate pancakes and what what just topped of the meal was that the staff put a candle in my mum's pudding and sang to her which has never happened before and she was so greatful as we only mentioned it was her birthday once so I just want to say thank you for the amazing evening lats night ”
“ We always go to goring as we've always had great service. But today was even better than usual. The food was soo good, besides hearing that they were short staffed in the kitchen. And the staff so friendly. I think our server was called Vicki, she was fab. It's a shame the card machine doesn't have option for tips though as I never carry cash! Really recommend this toby. ”
“ As always fantastic value for money, sufficient parking, lovely roast dinner and amazing puddings, we were greeted immediately at the door and shown to our table, within a minute a happy waitress came over and took our drinks order, no queue for food, served our meat by a very polite chef and then proceeded to pile on a vast array of veg and cauliflower cheese, Mac and cheese topped with very delicious gravy. All plates were cleared and order taken for amazing sundaes, the entire stay was just over an hour, no waiting for service, this is how all restaurants should be... Healthy fast food and excellent service. A ”
